Hi!
I’m Andrew, a 39-year-old software engineer/executive from Oakland, California. After dreaming about it for several years, I decided to finally commit and hike the Pacific Crest Trail in 2015. (I hiked with my then-girlfriend Clare.) The PCT runs 2,650 miles from Mexico to Canada, through California, Oregon, and Washington. It’s a six-month expedition really unlike any other.
This blog is here to capture some of my experiences out there and share them with friends and family. I’m going to try to write every day, although you can expect posts to be uploaded about once a week or so as I encounter civilization (and cell-phone service).
